I taught history and music at Highland High School, Cambridge. I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Brooklyn: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
