Brian Ruiz
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Yonkers, New York, United States
- The Holy Cross Trades Guild
- 1987 to 2016
- English
I've worked in carpentry from 1987 to 2016. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,250 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Brian: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
