I've coached cross country at Kampala Youth Club since 1994. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
