Brian Hamisi
Painter, potter and teacher at Unity Pottery
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Unity Pottery
- 2000 to 2010
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 2000 at Unity Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I make terrible puns.
More about Brian
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
