I teach biology at Newcastle High School in Newcastle since 1989. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
