Brenda G. Pickett
24 years teaching drama in Joliet
- 🇺🇸 Joliet, Illinois, United States
- Sakura Primary School
- 2011 to 2024
- English
I taught drama at Sakura Primary School in Joliet from 2011 to 2024. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Brenda
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
