For 43 years I've run the cross country program at Hamilton Boxing Gym in Hamilton. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
