Bongani P. Mthembu
Sitar player and teacher in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Brookfield Quartet
- 2006 to 2020
- English, Afrikaans
I've played sitar from 2006 to 2020, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 20 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
