Bongani L. Pillay
14 years teaching accounting in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Windsor Boys' School
- 1999 to 2008
- English, Afrikaans
I taught accounting and English literature at Windsor Boys' School, Johannesburg. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Bongani
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your Grade 6 class in 2012. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Hồ Chí Minh City.

You taught me accounting in 2001 at Windsor Boys' School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Truly.
