Bongani L. Cloete
Welding for eight years in Stellenbosch
- 🇿🇦 Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa
- The Greenfield Workshop
- Since 2018
- English, French
I've worked in welding since 2018. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 160 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Bongani
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bongani: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
