Bolaji Nonso Tijani
Ceramics and printmaking artist
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Crown Pottery
- Since 1993
- English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1993 at Crown Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Bolaji: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
