Bolaji Musa Hassan
Painter, potter and teacher at Zaria Art Collective
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Zaria Art Collective
- 2012 to 2025
- English
I work mostly in jewelry, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 2012 at Zaria Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I fix old bicycles.
More about Bolaji
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Bolaji: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
