I coached boxing at Abuja Frangipani Community Club from 1999 to 2012. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Bolaji
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Bolaji: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
