I've coached athletics at Gwagwalada Swimming Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Bolaji: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 2011. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Buenos Aires.
