Bolaji Chidi Igwe
Musician with Onitsha Band
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- Onitsha Band
- 2003 to 2024
- English, Hausa
I've played accordion from 2003 to 2024, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Bolaji
I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Bolaji: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
