Bola Nkechi Tijani
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Community Club
- 2000 to 2024
- English, Igbo
I coached cricket at Ikeja Community Club from 2000 to 2024. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
