Bola Mercy Yakubu
Mentor in nursing and first-generation students
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Youth Network
- Since 1979
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 2,770 people through Ikeja Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Bola
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

You helped me get my first nursing job in 2016. I still have your notes. Greetings from Aurora.
