Bola Lilian Bankole
Special education and chemistry teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Primary School
- Since 2000
- English, Hausa
For 26 years I have been the special education teacher at Lagos Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Bola
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Bola: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
