Bola Ife Yakubu

Mentor in finance and first-generation students

  • 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
  • Kano Youth Network
  • Since 2015
  • English, Hausa
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 400 people through Kano Youth Network. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Bola

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
