Bola Amaka Nwankwo

Youth athletics coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Frangipani Athletic Club
  • 2004 to 2023
  • English
For 19 years I ran the athletics program at Frangipani Athletic Club in Lagos. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Bola: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
