Bogdana Lidia Polyakov
Coached rugby for 29 years in Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- 1994 to 2023
- English
For 29 years I ran the rugby program at Kyiv Lakeview Sports Club in Kyiv. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Bogdana
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Bogdana: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
