I taught Spanish at Gangnam Secondary School in Gangnam from 1979 to 2001. Most days I taught Year 10, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
