Blessing Zainab Lasisi
Choir director and singer
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Mount Pleasant Band
- 1988 to 1998
- English, Yoruba
I play songwriting and accordion. I started in 1988 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Blessing
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
