Blessing Wunmi Obi
Coached boxing for 20 years in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Football Club
- 2003 to 2023
- English, Hausa
I coached boxing at Lagos Football Club from 2003 to 2023. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
More about Blessing
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Blessing: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
