Blessing Fatima Fashola
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Workshop
- Since 2000
- English, Yoruba
I've worked in bicycle repair since 2000. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,120 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Blessing
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Blessing: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
