Bithi Shapla Karim
Bass and sitar teacher
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Quartet
- Since 2015
- English
I play bass and sitar. I started in 2015 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Bithi
I write my first song when I was 14. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Bithi: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
