I taught modern history at Jessore College from 1989 to 2016, and supervised 39 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
More about Bithi
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Bithi: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
