Bishnu Ram Gautam
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- The Kathmandu Workshop
- Since 1984
- English, Spanish
I'm a bicycle repair specialist. If you live around Kathmandu, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
More about Bishnu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bishnu: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
