Bishnu Padam Rai
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- The Kathmandu Workshop
- 2015 to 2025
- English, Nepali
I'm a painting and decorating specialist. If you live around Kathmandu, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
More about Bishnu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Bishnu: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
