I'm a illustration artist based in Bahir Dar. I've been making things from 1980 to 2013 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Birtukan
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Birtukan: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
