I teach mathematics at Phoenix Girls' School in Addis Ababa since 1980. Most days I teach Year 7, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Birtukan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Birtukan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
