Biniam Yonas Desta

37 years teaching French in Addis Ababa

I taught French at Addis Ababa High School in Addis Ababa from 1978 to 1994. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
