Biniam Tadesse Mekonnen

25 years teaching English literature in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Middle School
  • Since 1997
  • English, Amharic
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.

More about Biniam

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
