Bimala Bimala Bhattarai
Social studies and art teacher, Dharan
- 🇳🇵 Dharan, Koshi, Nepal
- Rosewood Technical College
- 1989 to 2015
- English
I taught social studies at Rosewood Technical College in Dharan from 1989 to 2015. Most days I taught primary school children, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Bimala
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Bimala: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me social studies in 2001 at Rosewood Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard

I'm a doctor now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Aberdeen.
