I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1982 at Abbottabad Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I garden badly but happily.
More about Bilal
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Bilal: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
