I've spent 22 years as a lecturer in marine biology at Aswan Institute of Technology in Aswan. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Bilal
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Bilal: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
