Bilal Jamal Zidan
Painter, potter and teacher at Lotus Print Workshop
- 🇪🇬 Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
- Lotus Print Workshop
- Since 1979
- English, French
I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 1979 at Lotus Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Lotus Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
More about Bilal
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Bilal: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
