Bijay Binod Tamang
Farming mentor, Kathmandu
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Foundation
- Since 1986
- English, Nepali
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,040 people through Kathmandu Foundation.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Bijay
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Bijay: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first farming job in 1998. I still have your notes! Thank you again.
