For 44 years I've run the softball program at São Paulo Andes Boxing Gym in São Paulo. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
