Bhavna Parikh
Economics teacher at Queensway Public School, 1995 to 2021

- English, Marathi
I taught economics at Queensway Public School in Mumbai from 1995 to 2021. Most days I taught teenagers, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Bhavna
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Bhavna: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
