Bhavna K. Mittal
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Old Greenfield Workshop
- Since 1989
- English, Hindi
I've worked in thatching since 1989. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,440 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Bhavna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
