Bhavani L. Rao

Painter, potter and teacher at Mumbai Print Workshop

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Mumbai Print Workshop
  • 1980 to 1990
  • English, Telugu, Spanish
I'm a oil painting artist based in Mumbai. I've been making things from 1980 to 1990 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I garden badly but happily.

More about Bhavani

I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Bhavani: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
