I coached boxing at Montego Bay Athletic Club from 1992 to 2011. Most of my players were between 12 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
What gifts mean to Beverley: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
