Bethlehem Marta Demissie
Drums and singing teacher
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Adama Bamboo Quartet
- Since 1989
- English, Amharic
I play drums and singing. I started in 1989 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
More about Bethlehem
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
