Bethlehem Hiwot Belay

Self-taught mural painting artist

🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
Old Windsor Studio
2009 to 2025
English, Amharic

I'm a mural painting artist based in Bahir Dar. I've been making things from 2009 to 2025 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I sing in a choir. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Bethlehem

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Bethlehem: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
