I taught mathematics at San Jose Middle School in San Jose from 1987 to 2003. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Beth
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
