Berhanu Leul Gebre
Religious studies and environmental science teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Girls' School
- 1984 to 1997
- English
Addis Ababa Girls' School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 1984 to 1997, mostly teenagers.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Berhanu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Berhanu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me religious studies in 2011 at Addis Ababa Girls' School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly. Greetings from Peshawar.
