Bennett H. Brooks
English literature and biology teacher, Tacoma
- 🇺🇸 Tacoma, Washington, United States
- Westbrook Middle School
- 1989 to 2002
- English
For 13 years I was the English literature teacher at Westbrook Middle School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Bennett: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
