I taught art at Acacia Boys' School in Knoxville from 1983 to 1992. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Bennett
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Bennett: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
