I spent 18 years as a lecturer in linguistics at Atlas University in Newport. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It is the best part of this job.
What gifts mean to Bennett: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
